Being so open and understanding makes getting to know Claire not only easy, but also enjoyable. She puts herself in others shoes when she doesn't understand, and is never one to judge.
Claire saw her friendships in a more laid-back manner prior to her grief.
By being there for her and continuing to do so, she has been able to grow many of her friendships.

Allowing her to grieve in an open and comfortable place is the best thing Claire's friends have done.
Using her grief to make themselves feel/look better was really noticeable and bothersome to Claire.
Understanding that her friends have no idea what she has gone through, she wishes she could have been more honest with them.
